Why I Founded MemeyAI -Founder Collins Mwangi

 

I founded MemeyAI to solve three urgent problems:

  1. Youth unemployment

  2. Mental health stigma and access

  3. The monetization gap in digital creativity

Growing up in Kenya, I saw brilliant young people creating viral content online—funny, insightful, deeply relatable—yet earning nothing from it. At the same time, mental health struggles were rising, especially among the youth, and most institutions didn’t speak their language or understand their world.

So, I created MemeyAI—a platform where humor meets healing, creativity meets income, and artificial intelligence meets real-world impact.

At its core, MemeyAI empowers MemeLords—young content creators—to monetize their creativity while helping financial institutions, health providers, and brands communicate better through relatable, data-driven memes.

But beyond that, MemeyAI is building something bigger:

  • A job creation engine powered by humor and AI

  • A mental health early-warning system driven by behavioral signals

  • A community where creativity isn’t just for laughs—but for change
